I just bought a v style tube and an Eagle Cuda fishfinder. Do I mount the transducer on the bottom of the tube, or does it need to be down further and how far? Wondering if kicking with the fins will create disturbance on the finder. Thanks in advance.

I have a Caddis Nevada Gold U-tube. There is an area behind the pockets, just before the backrest begins. I used a strap and buckle to secure my transducer on the bottom side. It is about even with my upper body so my legs cause no disturbance when under way. I am not familiar with your design of tube but you'll figure it out pretty quick I'm sure.
