#9552, "Poll question: Would you hawk a barni-bait?"

I apologize for this lame attempt at a poll, but while I was watching Chuck Woolery (How many tourneys has he won??) try to keep a straight face while hawking "The Moto-Lure", I pondered if I would do the same.

Usually, if some sucker wants to give me money, I'm happy to oblige. On the other hand, what about the sucker that takes his kid fishing? Think of the kid, and his future attitude about fishing, after he and dad chuck a helicopter lure all day. The reason I'm asking for input here is that I've thought up a couple of awesome, sure-fire, barni baits. Guaranteed to never catch anything but sucker-fish(ermen).

Dude, I know you were thinking ... why don't I invent a nerf gun that shoots my fishing lure out instead of casting it. Unfortunately for you, that has already been in invented :o

I was getting ready to order it, but I don't think my hover lure would fit in those bait floats...Damn!

I'm still shopping for the battery operated trout complete with GPS navigation, strike alert and the optional clicker mode. By the way Chris, you left your pocket fisherman in my boat.

its also called SP chugger...by Green Dragon lures...

Its a great lure....especially the SP CHUGGER....I was hesitant about it...but my mother in law got me one for christmas and what the heck I tried it out...and man...that thing works...caught lots of 3 -4 pounders on it...and the gamakatsu hooks on it...they stick you looking at em! it comes with the extra wide gap treble hooks...and I have never lost a fish so far on that lure...although during hook set...you need to sweep it a little more as when you set the hook...you will first pull out about 6inches of power pro line that is tied to the spring....Give em a try...especially the green backed ones with a white belly...

That is pretty cool, but it lacks range. I need something for those looong casts into the MLPAs. I wonder if I can pick up any scuds on E-Bay.

Interesting feedback on the moto-lure. I was thinking "that could actually work" while watching that commercial, but I've also thought that about the flying lure and the walking worm.

hey i was totaly sceptical in the begining just like you guys, but i get to fish with chuck quite a bit and those things kick @ss. I couldnt believe it the first time we fished them. the only thing is the gami hooks suck the nut and they dont have split rings so change them out. o ya and the question about how many tourneys have they won; well im just gonna say that all they guys that i know that fish WON bass use or have used them and chuck fishes on mike oshea's boat and he uses them too. i would definately give them a try if i was u.
