Ok, I am all signed up for the tourney and I have camp site #13 reserved for Friday Night April 8th, I will be up there Friday morning (3hour drive). I will be camping alone so if there is anyone wanting to share the cost(which isn't that much) you are welcome. Rules say 2 cars and Max. 8 people.

Has anyone got an idea of how many people will be fishing this one?
Bryan

The furthest south area we can park. There will be signs leading the way

Lake, I don't know if you have said anything about this and I just missed it, but will we be able to wait in our cars and at blastoff drive to other parts of the lake and then fish back. Just wondering if I am going to need to be prepared to row my butt off or be able to bump some toons on the way to my fishing hole. :7

You will be able to drive and fish back, but you will leave the same time as everyone else

Steve Williams - if you're planning on fishing this tourney, too, you're welcome to stay at my place overnight Friday, if you'd rather do that than camp. My new house is about 20 minutes (3 freeway exits?) from the lake, so it'd be a pretty quick hop in the morning.

Let me know! New home phone: 408-782-9091; cell: 408-833-9264, or respond here, or send me an e-mail: jsmith24@hotmail.com

p.s. Mr. Lake: I presume you'll be accepting 'late' sign-ups @ Coyote Bait & Tackle's **parking lot sale** this Friday & Saturday? I'm hoping we can get to the 50-plus level we got to in years past with this tourney. A weekend extension (at least!) would probably be a good idea!

More incentive -- one of my top-3 PB's out of Coyote (an 8.9 -- great picture-taking, Mitch!) :D :

p.p.s. The above shot was taken in the month of December ('03?) -- trust me, the water's gonna be a little *taller* for this gig! :)

Thanks for the invite, Jeff, but I'm afraid I'll be working while you guys are huntin' the hawgs. Probably won't see you til the Open at Clear Lake or the Delta Open in June. Thanks again.

Jeff, I have spoke to the Coyote crew and they will accept late sign up. I had to put some sort of deadline on the sign ups for $$$$ reasons. This is a very expensive event for the club.

Lake,

Can you post the details on where we are launching from and at what time is the official launch time. Dude at Coyote didn't have a clue to the details. Talked to Zaldian and he didn't know but was going to check with you. :+

I have to visit the people at Coyote this weekend. I will post full deatils of the event on monday. Check in as at 5am on the 9th. I will have signs throughout the park leading to the check in location, I can tell you we will be launching and weighing in as south as possible

Im new to Bass N Tubes, not a member yet, ive done two float tube/kickboat tourneys with MelCottons but since i havent seen another one of their flyers in the mail, i think ill try this group, especially for Coyote...i signed up for the coyote lake tourney with my friend who is also new to BnT. i think i have all the info i need to get there, all the times and everything, got all my bait bought that id like to try, float tube is rigged up, umm, i think im ready...i just gotta be ready for the ride after i hook up a 10+ haha. lets see, im 18, senior in hs, love fishing, and lookin forward to meetin everybody.
Question: is it too late to sign up for the Big Fish buy in? i kinda changed my mind, thought itd jynx me.

Very cool you'll like the BNT guys, great bunch. Looks like your boat is ready for tourny fishing.

You can go to coyote and tell them you didnt pay the big fish option and would like to, just be sure they pull your slip and do it so theres no confusion at check in time

c ya there
