First... Thanks John for the inspiration to get my ass out of the house to go fishing for the first time since the BnT Open.

Second... I'm pizzt!

I just spent the last half hour typin what was not only my best fishing report but my longest. A real masterpiece! But, when I clicked to post, my internet connection was gone and so was the report. Did I say I was pizzt?

Short Version.
On the water shortly after 7am. No John. Caught 6lbr right across from launch to the right of the cut on a spook. Had another BIG blowup on spook near the dock straight through the cut. Fish up the bank and caught four more. John got there. I fished back toward the launch and picked up my sixth and final fish. When John got back from near the barrier we went kickboat wake riding up Victoria.
After 6 hours I called it guits and John followed shortly after. Caught my fish on spook, cut-tail, and senko. On the road by about 2pm. It was hot, but I had a great time.

Right on Steve, it sounds like you had a good day! Joe A. and I made a late decision to fish M.R.. We launched around 7p.m. i got a 3#er on my second cast with a frog, Joe caught a bunch of squeekers on a flick shake.

We saw Dan Balaba out there as well. He said to say "whats up" to all the B-n-T guys!

That guy and Anthony got on the water around 315 am saturday and finished up at 9am at middle.. the bite was wide open to say the least.. I had a 4 plus first thing on the double buzzer, then found they wanted the old wake bait..missed the first 3 fish then hooked like 5 out of the 6 ,with a 4 plus and a couple solid 3 lbrs..and a couple more on the buzzbait, Ant had a 7 plus on the same old super secret wakebait mentioned before.., after the sun came up they were smacking the Rico pop and walk the dog live target hard frog for me .. What a bite it was.. i think i might have flipped a senko 4 or 5 times ...
