Who is open on Saturday for some fishing? John is thinking of going to the delta. Might do that but its a long drive. Went to Spring lake on Monday. The water is way up. I got skunked. Not even a bite. Any suggestions for other lakes?

Not doing the Delta, figure it will be too dangerous with all the weekend boaters and hunters. One stray bb could ruin a kick boaters day ;)

I have not been to Yorty for a while now. It is my understanding that they did catch a Lady that was using Slim Jims to get into cars (and probably my van). Busted her red handed so she should be gone. But no telling if anyone else was involved. Best bet is to not leave anything valuable in your vehicle.

The cold unvisited mornings of December to April or so is the best time for the bad guys/gals as not much traffic comes in or out and we are out on the water out of sight most likely.

With all that said, I would certainly consider Yorte Saturday. Especially to be around that Bling Bling Kick Boat. Finally, I get to race him with my Pimped rig! :7

Happy Turkey Day - Gobble Gobble then NAP!

Just went to western bass and checked the fishing reports for sonoma. Seems like it has been dead acording to the posters. Not sure if they where fishing for mainly trout or bass or if they knew what they were doing. Oh well we have a couple of days.

Still thinking Yorte tomorrow, it has been some time since I have been there, water should be low helping to remind me of the structures that I want to fish when we hit Sonoma next year.

Looking like no rain, good clouds and little warmer, humm... think I should have gone this morning too, as my other plans fell through with the rain.

I am thinking being at the gate at 7:00 AM, Crank Baits, Jigs, First Morning Top Water? }(

Yorte was real slow, only one about 2# on a blade, gave up by 1:00 PM. Still had fun! One is better than none! :-)

Why don't you guys just fish and lunch around the public launch ramp. I'm sure that rock pile should hold some fish or maybe some smallie by the marina or dam. Wish I can go but gotta work on the yard.
