Sunday the 10th is our next event at MR. With the reports that came in over Memorial weekend I know I'm anxious to get out there. MR always turns out to be a pretty good tournament and takes a pretty solid bag to win. I have hears the topwater bite is on at the delta as well as all the other normal baits.The tide will be low in the morning and high around noon. Here's the info.

Check-in 4:10-4:40am
Weigh-in 3:00pm
Blast off 5:00am

Dang, I thought this was going to be the sunrise tournament where we get a couple hours in the dark. So sad I’m going to miss this one L I have my “honey do’s” in the early afternoon. Good luck to you guys out there! Maybe I’ll catch all your fish during the night… }(

Hi all, my name is James Loo. I haven't yak fish for a few years now. Am getting back to it and thought to get into a little non-powered boat bass competition. I use an old, small 12' Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 kayak. I'd like to try the upcoming event on Sunday the 10th. One dilema, I don't have a live-well. I've been doing some research on home-made live-well out of coolers but there just isn't enough room on my yak to properly fit one. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Or if I may borrow one from someone. Thanks.

I have one packed away that I made when I was fishing from a tube. It should be in good shape. it has some drag, but I can bring it if you would like.

I'm not positive on this but I think Clifton court off highway 4. Calpack is off Clifton.

From Brentwood, take Hwy 4 east. Pass Discovery Bay, turn right on Tracy Blvd (after second bridge), turn right on Clifton road, turn right on CalPak, and follow it all the way down to the water. It will curve off to the right. Follow it and look for the kickboats.
