Finally got my boat out yesterday morning. First time in about 3 months. That lake is so low it's rediculous. Most of the good rock piles are out of the water as well as trees. Threw spider grubs and spinners for a while with no luck, started to wonder if I was just out of tune. At 10:00 I was paralelling the bank opposite the freeway with a naci wiggle and got smacked by an 8.4oz on a Normark scale. Only bite I had before work, but damn that felt good!! Last time I went out was to Lexington a few months back and I caught a 4.2oz. Seems the bay is growing some nice fish these days, must be the MTBE. Anyway felt good going out friday, dont yet know where. ~peace boys

Nice to hear you're getting out once again! Man, an *8-4* out of Lexington -- that matches my best out of Coyote last fall. I guess this pond might hold some promise, after all, in the years to come -- if they don't let the sucker run COMPLETELY out of water!!!
Good to hear from you!

With all the rain we had earlier in the winter, I'm surprised any lake is low right now. What dummy ordered the release of water when a lake is so low!? -- Somebody should be unemployed for that decision! Our government & your tax dollars at work.
