for 3 g's you can get alot ,take your time and look around .I once fished with a guy who brought his boat in the back of a toyota truck .that might be an option for you to get a 10-11 ft boat .i think the boat company that deals thru bass pro shops have some decent car-toppers for around 900 for the boat new(motors around 1200) and the rest you can spend on electronics and /or a trolling motor..i will post you a link as soon as i find it here on the web.
