Has anybody had a probelm with Shimano rod snapping above the ferrules? Mine was a cheap rod( one of the FX spinning given as a gift for XMas) and probably should have been replaced as a bass rod but I liked the soft action it had. It was nice because it could handle some of the lighter finesse applics. Any suggestions on a good priced, similar action rod.
