#3454, "My sweet boat project"

Well awhile ago I bought a 12' tri hull boat for 400.00 its a great stable boat I went through it painted it with epoxy paint built a carpet floor addeda minn kota edge 40lb bow mount and a Brand new 15hp merc. Well I really love the boat its great uses mabey 2-3 gallons at most for a full day of fishing, gets up around 30mph and is great for me fishing by myself or mabey bringing the girlfirend along. I used to have a late 80's statos with a 150 all suped up and just couldnt afford to use it much, now with my (prius of the fishing world) I find myself on the water 3+ x a week.

Since I had taken such a liking to my little boat I decided to do her over right. I started off with my epoxy supplies the whole front deck is bdeing built out of 3/8" plywood impreginated with expoxy resin then laminated with 10oz cloth the floor will be built of 1/4" plywood and laminated with 10oz cloth the two back seat/compartments will be 3/8" plywood laiminated with 10oz cloth aswell. I have a total of 5 tempress water tight hatches for the project the insides of the hatch compartments have had several coats of epoxy resin and are now water tight aswell. The old paint is now sanded off and the outside will be finished with 3 coats of black epoxy gel coat the inside will be white gel coat, with non-skid.

For other accessories I have a lms 522c and a 519c minn kota terrova 50lb xps 2 bank onboard charger tempress seats lights ect.

Its a slow process only getting a few hours of work in peday because of the epoxy needing time to set up and so forth but is comming along great, I will post some more pics as I go.

What do you guys think
