I agree with Henry. I absolutly love the MH for my baits. It cast them extremly far and has just the right amount of back bone. In general the rods have a little more parrabolic bend to them then the original 7'6's. So they are not quite as stiff. I like them both. I have not tested the 7'11 XHVY but I do have the HvY and MEDHVY. Henry prety much nailed it when it comes to which rod to use for wich bait. I do however likr a little bit stiffer rod than most so I might recomend the Xhvy 7'11 for "Hudd" sized baits but either one will do the job. I realy like the pistal grip too. It just feels right when your throwing the baits hard.
