I've used Stren for years, Lo Vis green mainly. I've experienced no memory or strength problems with Stren. I've used it in Rivers landing 20lb salmon on 10lb test with no issues what so ever. It's pretty abrasion resistant as well. I guess to each his own. I used to use Ande's line for salmon fishing, but switched back to Stren because Ande's line had terrible memory. About the only other line I use is P-line.
