I grew up fishing this small lake. It is only 10' at its deepest part being the north end near the docks. The fish are taken pretty rapidly from the meat hunters that catch small bluegills and use those for bait taking the large mouth whenever they catch one. Lots of undersized fish are taken from this lake also which leaves you with lots of small fish. The fish still in the lake are crafty and smart. Wood is good here..
There are a few small schools of bass that still live in this lake and when you catch one there are almost always more right there with them.
Because the lake stays clear 90% of the time and is so shallow and weedy it can make for some tough fishing. Let the water warm up a bit and start throwing frogs a lot. You'll get some bites doing that.
Weightless worms are good also on these finicky fish.
My best from this lake was only 6lbs which is considered a monster here. The lake basically sucks...

I'd venture over to Stevens Creek down 280 a bit south of Foot Hills Park and fish it by tube or small boat, fish deep and don't forget to throw a trout imitater here. Carolina rigs work well here also with a brushhog or power worm as bait and use lots of smelly jelly!
