Hey, thanks guys, guess I was sorely mislead on this one. I was under the assumption as well that lights weren't the best for bass, then I was shown a few pictures of some really nice bass, three were 7-9lbs, and I was told he had caught these fishing under a floating light. But then again we all know fishermen... lol. This may not have been completely true, The first couple of times I fished this light I caught a couple of smaller bass, biggest being about 13 inches, but that was it. The one big advantage I did have to fishing this light was first thing in the morning. Overnight obviously I'd get and enormous selection of baitfish, and first thing in the morning when the hits started up, and the light was no longer needed, the area I'm fishing still held a LOT of bait, which is what I consider to be a contributing part to a very succesful morning. Looks like next time around maybe I'll stick a light somewhere a little distance from where i plan to fish, then go back to the light at sunrise, shut it off, and fish in the baitfished filled area. Thanks again guys, Hunter
