I had a feild day with them at ClearLake back in April best fish was just over ten pounds with a bad day being 27 pounds and my best right at 36. I fish them prespawn and in the tulies...No weight 5/0 ewg for the bigger senko and 2/0 ewg for the smaller ones. I was putting a worm rattle in the tails in the murkeier water but after a week we decided it didn't matter, however we did decide that smelly jelly couldn't hurt your presentation. Cast 'em out let 'em sink...pull them slowly to you...50/50 that you feel the bite. They mostly just start moving away...I've not had much luck in clearer water and the watermelon with black flake or red flake did the trick for me...While I have played with them since...Not happening in all those juicy salt and pepper and shad colors so you give them a try and let us know your take on it...<KELLY>
