Well, Lopez finally shut me down. I fished hard for seven hours today, throwing the 9" Slammer the entire time. All I got was one half hearted swipe at it at around 1:00. I think it's getting to that time where you have to fish all day for a few bites, but those bites are going to be quality fish. I guess I paid my dues today :)
