Went out to the main lake with fishchris. as soon as we launched we saw two or three healthy bass. we cruesed all through the front of the lake sighting many fish , none were too good.(we were after the big ones today). after about 20 min of just seeing all kinds of 1-3lb we dedided to just stop lookin for the big one for a bit and fish for some regular sized ones. imidiately fish boated a 3.5-4lb and 10 minutes after that i landed a 2. both fish were on beds. so after we got the skunk off the boat we headed back out lookin for some better fish , we didnt see too many over 5. kind of upsetting . at about 1:30 it got really windy and cold so we left.
oh yeah , fishchris was fishing the castaic trout lure and foul hooked an actual 5lb gold fish . not a carp , or a coy. this was short and fat with a big fan tail. we snapped a few pics and released it.
