Or you can transfer to Devry Pomona and you'll be approximately 7 minutes from the campus parking lot to gate at Puddingstone, I used to fish it between classes. As fall back options you have Santa Fe Dam which about 20 minutes to the West of the Pomona Campus but I think Pudd is much a better choice. You also have the SG river up Azusa Canyon (about 30 minutes up the mountain from school. There are a couple more options that are about 30 minutes out. That is of course without traffic. If you take the time to learn it you won't have to look any further then Pudd. I recommend buying the after class bass pass to get in to Pudd. Try to avoid the gate fee which was $6 but now might it be $7 I know it changed about a month or two ago but I'm not certain may even be $8.
If you transfer it's well worth getting the pass. It will work for SF Dam, Legg Lake, Eldo, and Castiac or at least it used to work for all those places. I'm sure someone on the board will know and be able to provide the info on that.
