Met up with a couple friends at the entrance one of which has a 18 footer. Got in at 7 but had to wait until almost 8 until the lifeguards gave the okay to launch.
We fished every cove and arm for 1 lmb at 3lbs on a fluke. Metered lots of bait and fish and threw everything we had at them, smirks, kpn plugs, hudds in 8 inch rof 0 and 5, hudd in 6 inch rof 12, baitsmiths, abt's, tt's, platinums, hammers and spro bucktails.
Shad was trapped up in coves, still couldn't get them to bite.
Wind came up so we bailed, good thing too, as the docks were almost getting swampped.
