Because of the terrorism threat at reservoirs the usual January through March weekend permit fishing season has been cancelled at Gibraltor reservoir for 2002. I was told to check at the end of each year because this policy will be reviewed at that time. I am pessimistic for the future because it will never be possible to declare that a threat has been eliminated; reduced perhaps, but not eliminated.
