#5111, "Sutherland, 7-27-02"

Launched before light and fished till 12:30. What'd I get. Nada, Zilch, Zero. From talking to a couple others it was a tough day all around. Though I did overhear a couple folks talking (they were in some type of club tourney I think), one was asking the other if all 5 of his fish were keepers. Plus I heard one other guy catch one. Other than that, didn't see another fish caught. Ironically the fish were going off until around 7. Fish slamming bait every where. I just couldn't find the pattern. Or they had plenty of natural stuff. Will this effect fishing? I know it does in the salt.

Had a few Senko farms and a couple Robo dumps, but that was it. Thanks to the stranger who gave me the Robos. This guy was way cool, he asked me if I was fishing worms and I said sorta. I only had my Senkos as I forgot my worm box (thought it was there until I pulled it out and it was a box of misc. surface stuff). So this guy pulled up and gave me a handfull. Way cool.

Anywho, the fishing was slow, the wind was smokin', and on top of it all, I started the day puking in my truck while waiting for the gate to open. Good thing is, it can only get better.
