Launched the yak around 6:30am, fished till 10:30. Got bit on my first cast, but missed it. Worked that section of tullies for a couple more bites. Moved across to the oak tree, missed a couple more. Finally stuck my one and only (about 1.5#) tossing a Core-shot Senko into the tullies. Spent the last 3 hrs getting two bites. Tossed more Senkos, and flipped the Ika (no bites there). Tried some DSing, and the blade, plus tossed my new Optimum trout.

Air and wind were cold, water was cold too (maybe59ยบ). Didn't really warm up till right before I left. I met a tuber, who got his first bite as I said hi. We chatted a bit, sounds like it's been slow there since Nov. He looked to be throwing a T-rigged 6" Aarons Magic.
