Thanks for the info. Do you ever fish the area around the dam? I know you guys tube it and usually tubers hit up just about the exact path you described... but I am a shore fisherman at this point (but not for long) and I was curious if you ever get fish at the breakoff slope of the dam. I have nailed quite a few decent fish at the launch ramp in the evenings as the fish cruise through there looking for a snack. Did you ever get a chance to fish the overflow pond a few years back when it had water for several months? I never hit it up but heard that some fish were caught down there.
