#11716, "To all of you lookers out there"

Now I know there are a lot of people out there who read this site and I know they are reading it because there is a lot of useful information on it. The thing is is that all of this information has to come from somewhere, and it comes from everyone who takes their time to post reports even if they are little reports that may not say much help a ton. I know that there have been times where I have gotten on to really good bites because I read about it on this site and I am very thankful to the people who are willing to share their information but the problem is that there are a lot of people who arn't willing to share. I know this because this year and last year when ever I have done well somewhere people show up there and start fishing. I dont mind this, its just that no one seems to post about how they do when they go. I would hope that this site would be a two way street, now I know that there isn't any way to force anyone to post but I feel like if I am going to pass on a bunch of information about where I went and how I did I would hope that you would do it too.

For example, Daniel, Lepin Bass and I fished Goleta beach this morning and there were 3 other fishermen out there, now that seems a little bit odd for them to be there on a friday morning when most of the time that I end up going there is never anyone out there, but they were there. How did they know that the bite had been good at Goleta? I dont know for sure, but I would venture a guess that at least one of them found out through this website. Now hopefully later today I will see a post on how they did, maybe I wont but hopefully I will so that way if they were catching fish maybe I could find out how they were doing it and learn a bit becasue I didn't catch a thing! I post here because I want other people to learn how to be better fisherman through my experiences, but in the same way I would like to learn how to be a better fisherman through other's experiences. So to all you lookers out there that never post please share your info, make this place a two-way street, dont just keep everything to yourself, because a lot of fishermen out there, myself included, want to learn to be better fishermen and through reading about your experiences maybe some day we will be. And to all of you out there who do share your info, THANK YOU you guys are all awesome because I know I have learned a lot from all of you! So that's enough with my ranting and raving...
