I think the drop in water tempurature has been the main factor in some spots being a little slower. Other spots still seem to be doing okay. When the water temp is colder, you might want to try some close in shore and bay fishing on a sunny afternoon. Those waters tend to be a little warmer and also heat up a little more from the sun light than other areas(such as the end of a pier).
