Well, I took the family this time for what was my wife and girls first trip into San Felipe let alone Baja. I had hoped it would be a good first impression on them but wouldn't you know, it turned out to be one of those. Uuugh! If it wasn't for our panga's motor breaking some sort of rod 2 Hrs into the fishing leaving us up #@!$ creek without a paddle, or having the Policia tell me to follow him to the station to pay a fine cause I was stopped in a Handicapped spot while getting money out of the local ATM which was only made worse cause he wouldn't let me take any money out first to pay the fine and then having my keys taken away at the station till I could, or the fact that my totally MUY GRINGO wife couldn't wait to get back across the border the very second we crossed over the border and made sure that I didn't forget her dilemna every time she didn't like the food or drink or lack of the creature comforts..... I think it would of gone great. OK. One second. Let me take a deep breath. No kidding, it was one big comedy of errors. Something like the Bundy's on vacation or the Honeymooners in Paradise with the parts of Norton and his wife played by my girls. I mean it was beautiful and relaxing and we did manage a few Corvina and Cabrilla before having the motor take a crap on us but good lord. Anyway, I'm falling asleep so I'll spare all of you any more details. Besides, you get the just of it. But really. Who's complaining? I caught a few fish and I was in San Felipe with my beautiful (disfunctional) family. JK.
