fished the harbor from about 5:30-9:00. started off at the bridge with no bait so tried out some lures for about an hour. second cast on a rainbow colored 3in swimbait i hooked up a short hali. that was the only action at the bridge so some friends and i headed down to the pier. no one catching anything. i saw one smelt and i got on little perch. the guy who caught the smelt gave it to us for bait. as i filleted it i wondered wat that smelt had been eating. opened up the stomach and found a fish head. probably the guys bait but still pretty cool.
