kman, the water temp has dropped a bit lately but with the warmer weather coming in, the water and fishing should heat up. It's a good bet that the halibut should really start to come in larger numbers within the next couple weeks. I fish mostly Orange county but during the season, reports show plenty of halibut in the South Bay area.
