Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle will be holding its annual Barred Surf Perch Derby starting in March according to owner Hugh Cobb. The Derby will be held through March and April.

Monthly winners will recieve gift certificates of $100 for first place, $50 for second and $25 for third.

Anglers must register in advance of fishing. The store is located on South Coast Highway (Old Hill St.) in Oceanide.

Later in the season, there will be a Halibut, Croaker, and Corbina Derby as well. I will post the times.
