Wasn't going to go fishn but had to drop my bro off to work and CDM was just down the street. Launched around 7:30 (a little late). Fished for 3 hours with about two dozen fish (1 very short hali, 2 sandies and the rest spotties) C&R. Also caught my biggest spotty. It was 17.5 inch and a big ole belly that resembles a LMB. Guestimate at 4 lbs. 60% of the spotties were legal. All fished caught on Big Hammer and over a 50 yard covered area. Why leave fish to find fish? Had the same amount of short bites. I think maybe putting some scent (pro-cure or hot sauce) will make them more willing to hit it more aggressively.
