Did the usual Sunday morning “alternative to church” short trip. Took a couple friends out to PL kelp from 7:30 – 1:30. Conditions sucked. Fishing sucked. Jetty Worms were the drug of choice today. Only got a couple half-hearted bites on the swimbaits. One of my friends is LMB angler from Palm Springs. This was only his second calico trip, he was happy!! We never did find Big Moe but are efforts were rewarded with some mid-sized models. The water’s still all brown and nasty in the canopy areas. Had a NICE drift but the water was to feo to take full advantage of it. Anyway, here are some digi shots. Enjoy.
