Slightly stained water. No current. Morning winds fairly strong. Temp 60 degrees. Fished from 6:30 to 12:30. Bite slow, but fish big.
Same old story park in the thick plants and start pitching Jetty Worms. Funky weather and a very tough bite this morning. I got the first decent bendo on this baby lingcod. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo877.jpg It took a loooong time before we got any bass. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo889.jpg I think we only caught like a dozen fish today and half of them were little rockfish. We did get some(ok, THEY did) nice bass out of the deal though http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo885.jpg Harry, keep the change. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo893.jpg God speed, young Matt. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo891.jpg TJW tip: We all like the big curltail grubs, but if the bite is tough try switching to a beaver type tail. It’s been working for me, and today it worked for Barb. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo888.jpg And these crimes between us grow deeper… http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v388/fishtricks/PictureorVideo881.jpg
