Falcon around this morning with the world famous BDer beauty and queen O’ da spots, Garden Martha. She was working on her spinnerbait game, and I was working on my fly game. My game is already fly, but there’s always room for improvement….

We jumped around all day and fished lot’s of different areas. We caught fish on almost every stop. Sometimes the action was great. We used flies, Gulp on leadheads, TSBs, and Bass Assassin drop shots. Many dinks were caught. I achieved a dink bass slam on the flyrod(almost twice) GM is a dink magnet with her Gulp stuff. I got this keeper hali on the drop shot.

I was also lucky enough to get the first GarMar sized spotty.

I had a hali follow my Spinbomb to the boat and turn away. We were saturating the area trying to get it to bite, and when I first hooked this spotted bay bass, I thought I had it, it would have been hali number 2 but alas…. I don’t think Hank done it this way.

Martha went on a short lived Spinbomb rampage and whacked 3 good ones in a row.

I was trying to teach her the classic “Fishtricks” pose to help make the fish look bigger but,…she just catches a bigger fish.

These bass were ROCKIN her spinning rod. It was fun to watch. Full on rod folded over bando!!
