I just got back from an early morning outing to San Simeon Park. I was grubbin for some early spawner perch. Not alot goin on except some bigger goggle eyes and smaller barred perch. Although when fishing near a creek e.g.(Cayucos Creek, Santa Rosa Creek) steelhead ranging from about 10-30 Inches have been slamming motor oil grubs, small kastmasters, and small Krocs. Please be sure to carefully release any steelhead trout you catch. Also be sure to report anyone keeping steelhead!
