LAST EDITED ON Jun-05-01 AT 08:53 AM (PST) Hey Guys,
There is no doubt that it is a WSB. I live in Alemeda and have talked to a couple of guys that have caught them while drifting for halibut. The numbers on these fish up here are not that great(that I know of). They come few and far between. I have yet to talk to anyone that is actually targeting them yet. Brain has the right idea on catch and release. I think all the fish caught around here should be release until we have established a decent population of fish. In the next week or two I will be going out to see if I can catch a few of these guys myself. I will let you know how it goes. Wouldn't it be cool if there are good numbers here and noone is fishing them!! We will see.
Tight Lines,
Clay
Here fishy, fishy, fishy......
