I'll be in Santa Barbara in a couple weeks - tagging along on my wifeo's convention. Will only have about 3 hours to wet a line, so I want to stick close to Stearn's wharf area. Fishing from shore unless there are skiff rentals for the harbor. I'd prefer to target halibut and bay bass over perch. Is there a way to get close to the bait receiver in the harbor? Any local info on nearby spots would be mightly appreciated.
