#5212, "Not So Report for SD Bay 3/17"

How 'bout my Bruins kicking some Bearcat butt on Sunday. Looking good on their way to the regionals, Baby! OK. Now with that said, on to the report.:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(. And that's my report. Wasn't able to get on the water due to a family emergency. On the night of my cuz's graduation, my grandma's heart problem acted up again and we had to admit her into Grossmont hospital. She's OK though ( Thank you all for your concern, really ). They gave her some different blood pressure medication and kept her monitored throughout the weekend. Anyhow, I wasn't really disappointed, due to the circumstances, cause I'm going to San Felipe with some friends on Friday. Ya! Baja at spring break! It's all about the three P's, baby. Phinatical Partying, Phemales and Phishing and not necessarily in that order, either. Phishing by day and the other P's by night. Well, atleast the Phinatical Partying thing anyway. I can gauk at the Phemales though, can't I? Anyway, my family's been going down for years and we happen to have some friends that run a Panga there. We..Are..Set!! Leaving at 3 in the morning Friday, we should arrive by noon and the Panga will be waiting for an afternoon outing right off the bat. That night.... well use your imagination. Saturday morning.... off on the Panga once more. Saturday night....yup, you guessed it. More imagination. Finally, Sunday morning....one more time on the Panga for a minimal outing and then back home. Short but Oh, So Sweet. We absolutely cannot wait. Our friends down there tell us that the Corvina, Halibut, Cabrilla and Sargo are going off in the bay. But..... the White Seabass and the Totuava, an oversized cousin to the White Seabass which has been protected due to overfishing by Mexican Gillnetters, are hitting at the rock outside. The rock is just that, a large rock about 15-20 miles offshore and if the weather permits you to make it out there, the fishing can be pretty good. So , here's to an awesome weekend coming up and to one that could have been worse. But don't tell that to my girls. Even though Grandma's alright, they were still very disappointed. Poor babies, I owe them one...or two....or three.

P.S. If your wondering about what we do with the Totuava if we get 'em, don't worry. Strictly C&R.

GO BRUINS....GO RAMS....GO FISHING....!!!!
FLOWING THROUGH MY VEINS!!!!
