With the live bait hard to get many of the tubers had to break out their plastics and Frozen Anchovies. The water was dirty, looked like a dump truck dumped trash all over the place. Plastic bags everywhere!! Well, the winner was Terry A. with a total of (3) legal Halibuts totalling 21 pounds and with the biggest fish of 8.8 pounds. John Gugliotta caught a nice 30" 8.5 pounder for second place and I caught a 22 incher. I would have released it if I would have known the others had theirs. Terry A. won the tourney and $205.00 and a custom graphite rod for the biggest Halibut of the month award.

Note: The bait is real hard to get almost everywhere, But you can consistantly get live Shinner Perch at Mother's Beach with uncooked Shrimp on Sabiki jigs.
