Well it wasn't too bad considering the wind and cold. 8 or so BP's, though the biggest was only like 7". Also had one short 'But, maybe 14". All but one BP were on various c-rigged 1" grubs, all motor oil variations. One BP on a sand crab, and missed tons of others. I guess after some 9 months of no bait fishing I'm a little out of touch. By the way, how does one hook a sand crab. I was using a #6 live bait hook, and basically getting 'em stuck however I could. Squirmy little bastards.

The good news is, both crabs and corbs are in. Many good sized, egging, crabs; but they are bunched up in real tight areas. Saw many corbs as the tide first pushed in. I didn't switch to crabs until the grub bite died off. Corbs were definitely eating the big crabs. I dug up three that were crushed, though had somehow escaped the corbs. The corbs got to a point were they were coming way up with the waves. Saw many drybacked, waiting till the last possible moment to head back out. It was quite a sight.
