Went out to try out for the Squid yesterday after work on the new seaforth. these things are a blast. managed to keep three out of quite a few takers.

one important tip to whoever wintends to go after them on the cattle boat. if somebody next to you is going to bounce one up...Abstain yourself from looking over the rail and move over to one side a few steps. learned that the hard way, about four of them gave me a good squirt on the face as they were coming up.

also I'm somewhat concerned for one of the deckhands, he was extremely helful, friendly and was doing a hell of a job trying to get the squid to come up for us till he slipped off of the bait tank and took a dip after a wave passed us. I beleieve he broke a leg.
