Hi Bill,<BR>The stairs are about 1/2 way out to the point from the Goleta Beach parking lot. Really the entire cove from the parking lot out to the point can be hot at times for halibut. Out towards the point the calico bass and white seabass (always short for me) fishing seems to improve.<P>How is the corbina fishing coming along?<P>See ya,<BR>Mike
