#9124, "Huntington Harbor Fri Feb 21 03 / Report"

Went out with buddy Earl on gUPPY tIME Friday morning, high tide was 12:05 p.m. Fish report: 15 Flounder, 6 Halibut(pic shown 24"), 1 Sand Bass(pic shown 15 1/2"), 2 Green Eyed Dogs (1 pic shown), 2 Monster Jack Smelt. Let me give eveyone a friendly Warning! We were boarded twice! by Dept of Fish and Game ( 2 different crews), and once by the Marines. They checked everything!!! Licenses, all fish on board, (they measured them also and checked our measuring device!), even checked our ice chests, and looked over the whole boat! The Marines were making sure we wern't to close to the preserve or tieing up to the bouys. They also said if we pull up any fish from behind the ropes every fish would be a fine! No signs there to warn you in certinn spots. Was a nice day, light breeze, sunny. Hope this info helps you!
P.S. We have a fishing club at the Elk's. If anyone might be interested in becoming an Elk e-maol me.
Good Fishing, Mykk5
