I just have to comment on Wylies tackle shop!

Wylie was a damn fine ornery bastard while he was with us. Every time I went by his shop and asked how the fishin' was he's say the exact same thing every single time: "The fishin's been damn good!". You had to hear him say it. He was so serious. According to him, they were biting everything all the time. It was sooooo funny. That old man gave me many a good laugh. He used to tell us how his friend catches multiple 10 pound calicos per day all the time right across the street from his shop on dead anchovies. My friend "Pablito" and I were sad to hear he passed on when he did. His passing actually got news coverage because he'd been so prominent in the malibu community for so long.
