Mine never rested on the hooks. Would roll to one side and the trebles would roll and snag. I have heard of guys drilling out the ball then pluggin the hole with a melted plastic worm. I just found it easier this way it usually only sticks the snag with one tine of the hook and usually alittle pressure will straighten the hook out. Better less one treble than one Charlie.
