I just bought a 9" ms slammer. It has a little clip or something on the front of it. It does not look real strong to me. Do you tie to this or straight to the lure? Also, will the palomer knot work? Are the hooks that came on it good? I am going to fish it mostly at night. I plan on reeling it real slow on top, but should I ever pause it? or jerk it or anything else? When would you reel it faster to get it under the water instead of on top? Should my drag be tightened down all the way or a little loose so a fish doesnt rip the hooks out? Sorry about all of the questions. I am just trying to learn everything I can.
