These little dudes have been around for a few years but I have been remiss in procuring one. So at long last, here are the photos.
I had occasion to play around with the lure today, and searching for an appropriate adjective was difficult. In the end, I decided the best word is "delicious". Like its cousin the Triple Trout, the bluegill does not look spectacular in hand - but in the water the lure finds its happy place.
The swim is fluid, natural - no awkward jerks or long forward motions between kicks. The bait measures 5" and weighs 1.75oz but it is a small 5 inches. You should expect to land most 2lbers that eat this lure. Hardware is robust, but you may wish to change the hooks (VMC). The color patterns are layered and wonderful.
I am unsure on price. I do know that Scott is making about 1 dozen per month. If you want one, Performance Tackle is the place, (714)826-1400 is the phone number. There's probably a list.
