great job on your guys' presentations...my hats off to you

Having watched the commission video and spoken to various biologists at the DFG and EBMUD it's becoming real clear that the theme here is "insufficient funds". My understanding is the federally funded environmentalists have made it a common practice to use their lawyers to get their points across to the ill funded under manned DFG. Funny thing is every DFG/Ebmud biologist I've spoken to has wanted to do impact studies on trout stockings in the past,but had "insufficient funds".

It's a shame that the system right now is setup to fail. Schwarzenegger has cut almost $40 million from the Dept during his administration. Hopefully the Terminator begins to understand that reservoir fishing makes up for more than 50% of the fishing licenses/fee's and allocates more funding so these guys are able to do their jobs.
