Took a trip down to Mazatlan. Great place to vacation for an angler. From Marlin fishing and the Big Bass. I will be going back soon.

The bite at El Salto was very good. They tell me that there is no real bad time of the year to go. If you can stand the heat you will catch many fish. For those who have not been, the whole lake is flooded timber.

We went with the Escuala fleet on both ocean and lake excursions. The guide was great and it was fun trying to comunicate with them in spanish. We fished poppers in the morning and caught fish almost every cast. Then we switch to plastics. Again almost every cast. Next time I will pack down a couple of Slammers. I bet they would kill'em. Anyway attached are some pictures. I wish we had more film but it was our last day there and I did not plan well. The big fish was cught by Leah and it went 10.3
