(my report on sat. from 6:10-2:30) went to perris saturday, my friends dad dropped us off there at 6:10am fished flag pole for about 2hrs with my rago swimbait then the marina. saw a few bass in the marina but nothing was biting. so we went to dock five and saw people catching trout like crazy. somone told me they stalked yesterday. the trout would swim in schools of 30-50. all small with a couple big ones. perfect for the largemouth. saw a couple of 3-5 pounders chaseing trout. threw my 6" sinking castaic swimbait. i got hit once casting into the schools. then we moved on to ranger point. i was throwing my rago my friend was throwing a storm. we threw them all along the point until the dock with nothing. then i casted along the dock of ranger boats and got hit about 10ft from shore! when i pulled it up me and my friend estimated it at about 5-6lbs. it was a nice fish. it was the fatest fish i had ever caught for how long it was. you could see the skin in between its scales! it must have downed a few trout before i caught it. it was the first time useing my generic trout. well we threw swimbaits the rest of the day off ranger point with nothing.

on stocking day. talked to some guy that said he had a fish by dock 7 on a big castaic swimbait. when i went in the marina store there were recent pics of jerry rago with big fish useing his swimbait. 13lber caught at dam on live crawdad. an new perris record was set at 18.5lbs i had heard from a few different people.

(my report for sun. from 12:30-4:30) first we fished ranger point thowing swimbaits nothing. fished from shore for about 1 1/2hrs. then got my tube and jumped off ranger point to get my new bait that i snagged in rocks. then fished ranger point in my tube until 4:30 with nothing. we worked the whole point several times. while in my tube i saw a few fish around the dock.
