Thanks Brian, guess Ive just been lucky then. Ill give that a look and a try.

Rob, Im still lurking around these sites, but with two kids just not a lot of time to post.

Im really struggling in central cal right now. My lakes seem to be too cold for trout fish. My best results have always been water52-58 degrees and up. Water right now at Issy is 44-47 degrees. Shad are dying off big time and the fish (all fish) are gorging them.
Still some big fish to be caught trolling trout on leadcore or using a keel weight up the line. Just that is very slow, boring way to fish. Ill try to be more frequent poster to this page. Great page and some very useful tips. Feel free to email me or call 661-871-1856 to shoot the breeze. Hope to meet you trophy fishermen in the future

PS I could see a toad out of Lopez this spring for a trout tosser.

Im out
